 What's Your Grin Factor Today?

We're in the business of Grins!  Big, Ear to Ear Grins!  Grins from the rush you get.  Grins that come from unplugging from the matrix we live in.  Grins from seeing whales, dolphins & seals.  Grins from your kids having a blast.   Grins that come from hard earned money well spent. Grins from feeling alive!

Speed and Handling

Speed Under Sail:  Because of their high sail area/weight ratio, long skinny hulls and hydrodynamic shape, Adventure Trimarans are capable of blistering speeds, outperforming most production monohulls, and many production trimarans costing 10 times as much.  We expect speeds well above 20 knots.

Paddling performance is stellar as well, due to the long thin hulls and light weight.  We expect steady speeds of 4-5 knots, depending on the paddlers.

Performance is a function of sail area, length, hull design, wetted surface and weight. Speed to date (Sept. 4th) has been 15 knots in 12-14 knots of wind.  We have yet to be out in 20+ knots of wind.

Easy Handling, even for Beginners:  With perfectly balanced helm, sails, and daggerboards,  Adventure Trimarans  are a breeze to sail, steer and maneuver. With Variable Rig Technology, only a few control lines are necessary, making it easy to handle for beginning sailors and those wanting to focus on their surroundings or on driving rather than on constant sail trimming. With the Variable rig design, you can set it up to match your ability and only carry as much sail area as you can handle.  The low center of effort of the 2 rigs on the double reduces heeling force and keeps the boat more stable.   She should be able to carry full sail well past 30 knots of wind.
