Variable Rig BenefitsAlways wanted to sail a schooner? Now you can. Interested in parallel bi-plane rigs like Yves Parlier's Hydraplaneur or Pete Goss's Team Phillips? You can try it out. Inexperienced at sailing and want the simplest, easy to control, single-sail, single line set-up? You Got It! Variable Rig technology makes Adventure Trimarans fun for everyone, allowing you a wide variety of options from simple to complex, from on-the-edge sailing to relaxing and safe. The variable rig on the 24 makes it easy to single-hand, with a lower center of effort, which mean lower stresses, lighter parts, and much more safety. The double rigs mean that you have less heeling force (tipping) going up-wind, the angle where heeling force is greatest, and you have more sail area going downwind, when you want it. The bi-plane rig keeps both sails in fresh air, allows more space on deck, and keeps the main hull clutter free for paddling. Adding the optional headsails puts on more speed, and assists with pointing (tacking upwind) Variable Rig Rigging Options
