Discover Your Adventure...
Adventure Trimarans are the fastest adventure sailing canoes
on the planet. Designed for coastal cruising, adventure races,
expeditions, day sailing, or getting a tan on the lake, they are part sailing outrigger canoe, part beach
catamaran, part sea kayak, and part trimaran sailboat. Completely
Eco-friendly, this ultra light, high-tech, boat is purpose designed to
sail and paddle faster then the wind speed, and is equally adept at winning
races, going camping, or just hanging out on the lake. In fact, it's
perfect for father and son adventures.
It's Variable Rig design makes it easy to handle for any ability and you can rig
it any way you want.
The Issue: Boats that are
fast enough to be really fun usually require an expert sailor, and cost a fortune.
The Solution: Adventure
Trimarans offer high speed thrills on a wide, stable platform that any beginner
can handle. You will stay drier and warmer, and when the wind dies, the boat is
designed to paddle home, with comfortable seats exactly where you need them, in
the middle of the boat.
What Makes an Adventure Trimaran
Unique?
-
Extreme
Speed - Capable of sailing over 20 knots (more than twice as
fast as most sailing kayaks or canoes, and as fast as trimarans costing 10 times as
much.) Paddles at over 4 knots.
-
Sail or Paddle in the Same Boat-
Most canoes & kayaks don't sail very well, because they're not designed for
it; most sailboats don't paddle very well, they're too big & heavy.
Adventure Trimarans are the only sailing canoe purpose designed to do both well.
-
Versatile!
Variable Rig
Technology™
allows you to rig it the way you want - change
your rigging set-up and sail area between schooner rig, bi-plane rig, or sloop rig,
much like a child's transformer toy. This
versatility makes Adventure Tri equally fun for skilled sailors and
beginners!
-
Easy to Handle Alone or with Family
- the Variable Rig is easily manageable for one person, with few control
lines and low center of effort,
and can
carry up to 3 people.
-
Can't Swamp It or Sink It - The
sit-on-top design keeps you safe from sinking in big waves, and it will
never fill up with rainwater at your dock, your beach, or while on your car.
-
Fast, Simple Set-up and Transport
- Straps to the top of your car, assembles in less than 30 minutes. Outrigger hulls weigh less than
30
pounds, and are easy for 1 person to mount.
-
More Boat for Less Money
- Costs less than the family car, and a fraction of other 22-25
foot trimarans, yet has higher quality components and construction.
-
Eco-Friendly - with wind and
paddles, who needs a motor? If the wind dies, you can paddle home
comfortably and quickly, unlike beach catamarans and mono-hulls.
-
Super Lightweight -
With a total weight of 250 pounds and no single piece more than 100 pounds, it's
cake to put on the car, carry to the water, or move around.
-
Go Upwind Faster - Sails (points) high upwind at
good speed
-
Safer - Wide beam, high
buoyancy amas, and low center of effort mean high stability and very low
risk of capsize or pitch-pole.
-
Great for Camping - at anchor or on land,
with large trampoline nets and tons of internal storage space.
-
Spacious Lounging - 120 square feet of lounging space
for lakes and warm weather, swimming, fishing or snorkeling
-
See More Scenery & Cover More Ground
- Easy 100-150 mile days during daylight
hours
-
Options for Everyone - including
downwind sails, all carbon option, tent for camping, motor mount, carbon
rudder blade, etc.
Save More Money!
Many new sailboat buyers think they're
buying freedom only to discover they're now tied to the diesel mechanic, the
electrician and the marina. With an Adventure Trimaran you will escape:
Our Keep it Simple
Philosophy
Have Fun! Less is more.
Simple is better than complex. Light weight is critical. Fewer parts are
simpler, cost less and break less than many parts. Start with very skinny,
fast and light hulls, and put a decent but manageable amount of sail area on it, rather
than over-canvassing a heavy, slow hull that will never go fast.
